Vodafone launches legal action against Ireland’s telecoms regulator

Vodafone has issued High Court proceedings against Ireland’s telecoms regulator over what it believes is 3 Ireland’s stockpiling of mobile phone bandwidth in Ireland. The action is being taken to force Comreg to review whether 3 Ireland now has too much mobile spectrum after it bought O2 Ireland from Telefonica in a €780m deal.
